Recently i went to this silly resturant that my parents always go . We ordered many dishes . Also a large portion of soup .
I asked the server to help serve the soup to each bowl . There were only 5 of us . She replied that she does not serve soup . That we have to do it ourselves . Says that she never serves soup before and that she only brings the food to our table .
I lost my patience and told her she is very lazy as if she served the soup , she can remove the bowl and we can place more food on the table . SHe walked off.
I then told my parents that we should never support this resturant again as the service is so bad and that they were very rude .
My dad told me off and said that i was out of line and that i should just accept this as house rules .
I dont know what to say to this . But i guess , some people don’t stand up for their rights and some do . Guess my parents are used to being pushed around and treated badly by others .
What a moral booster to stand up for my family when people push them…and then get shot down by the father for doing that .
If i was a father , and my son did that for me , i would have backed him up and walked off the table from the resturant and NOT stand for it >
